For a short time, they have captured the audience...but in the long run..their strategy no longer works...audiences as intelligent people really seeks quality shows in terms of production. And the station is wanting of these. Gone are the days when viewers are deceived by flaunting the skin of the stars...(kelangan pang hubaran yung mga stars nila just to get high ratings)..This is undeniable! Any thinking man can perceived it upon viewing their shows which contains shallow theme,low quality production but stars are almost naked.(I wonder why MTRCB allowed those shows, most are in primetime pa!!!latest shows carries the same strategy..watch Lupin, Asian Treasure...wheeww hinuhubaran pa rin yung mga stars...but no longer have the same effect since what matters now is really the story and production...)Remeber DArna, MAjika, Encantadia, Mulawin? see how angel, katrina,etc. skin's are being flaunt in primetime shows? As obvious as it is, these actresses cannot take pride of thier shows because they, themselves knew the realities behind it. It's now time for the station to realize that their strategy no longer works. It was a wise strategy but not lasting. Some stars working in their station now who used to be ABS CBN talents knew very much that GMA is still way behind ABS. The GMA Management is the greatest imitator in the Phillipine history..especially in terms of strategy save for the flesh flaunting strategy. Well it's not bad to imitate approaches especially the program and talent approach like of ABS since they are really strategically design. But GMA MAnagement needs to learn more even in imitating aspect. The problem with GMA is that they are not realistic, open and truthful. When they hitted the No.1 rating, they forgot that it is not forever. Untill now they make believe that they are still no. 1...the same survey agency who once became their basis for being no. 1 station were no longer serve as their basis when it resulted otherwise..they resorted to another survey agency which will reflect their desired no. 1 status. They are guilty of forum shopping...Changing the sources of their informaiton just to reflect their desires. Aside from forum shopping, they should also be held guilty of Prescription..because of inconsistency! and abuse of women too...watch how they flaunt the skin of their young stars? View it with legal standing, they are clearly below the belt and should not be shown in primetimes where there are many youth viewers. The truth of the matter is..for the long time ABS-CBN was the no. 1 tv station, but there was a short time that the no. 1 slot was stolen by GMA...but nowadays, ABS-CBN rule again..putting GMA way behind...This should be understood by GMA stars and MAnagement and even their viewers so that they could stop claiming otherwise. Better yet GMA Management should instill honesty among their talents by advising them to refrain from broadcasting any form of lies. Maybe viewers might be decieved but advertisers, surely can never be deceived... The no. 1 slot is changing.It's a given fact because it is objective, depends upon the program showed. ABS-CBN managment and stars aknowledge it, howcome GMA could not? ABS even announces the time when GMA became no. 1 station and find strategy how to win back the title. You can hear it from the mangemnt and from the stars.. But now that ABS has taken the no. 1 slot again...GMA still claims that they are no. 1...How do you call that? dishonest or they are just in illusion? ahh..they are in denial They should follow ABS-CBN' s acceptance and honetsy on the true things. They should not be carried away by their magical teleserye which are full of illusions to the extent that even in reality, they seemed to be still in the magical world. Watch how GMA anchors' refused to acknowledge the kasikatan of a star if he or she is from another station and how they insist that the star is famous when he or she are from GMA. They really appeared stupid. Maybe it's understandable if it came form Joey de LEon or Richard Gomez..but even well respected anchors like mel tianco seemed to have compromised the truth just to put forward the station. This is not something that you can call loyalty... flaunting of skin and flesh are not enough to maintain the no. 1 slot... i hope GMA stars, managment and viewers are openminded enough to accept that and they must not dwell on the past especially if by so doing they only become bitter...they can do it if by so doing it will make the station better but not in the way they are doing now.
