Is he way much older than Plinky Recto? Kasi by looking at General Jarque, some think that Magdaleno Peña must be as old as the general. Nagpi-Plates din kaya siya? O pilipit lang talaga expertise niya?
Madami kaya siyang connections talaga? He seems to have come from a landed elite family in the Visayas.

He passed the bar sometime 1983 + or -. So he must be 47 something by now. At least not as old as General Jarque. But he must have the right connections for having so much power.

this guy is really powerful. Just ask Gen Jarque or even new Supreme Court Chief Justice Panganiban. Nakakuha ng katapat ang mga Recto that even Ate Vi could not do anything. Poor Plinky, but she should have thought first what she was going into when she agreed to the relationship. By having a quick court order and a having the CIDG get his son, he must really have a good case as this contrary to the Fanily Code or he is really that influential.

It is not only the Media he has influence. The Politicians, Judges, and even the Church does not dare to meddle in his affairs. Even if the NPA has numerous death treaths, they could not touch him. He is your typical rich haciendero who can have his way.

PLINKY RECTO USED TO SLEEP WITH FRANCIS LUMEN WHEN HE WAS STILL MARRIED TO MARRY ANNE. SHE CALLED HIM “SPECIAL” FRIEND. OF COURSE THEY BOTH WILL NEVER ADMIT THIS FACT.
she loves to sleep somewhere or with someone who’s someone else’ someone?that may be very true..i got a friend who happens to be miss recto’s lawyer…in one of the many cases where the other party was her ex bf powerful lawyer. this friend told me that it is best that her 3 yr. old son stays with the father (atty.peña) becasue miss recto is an irresponsible mom who loves to gallivant and fool around…accordingly she is very promiscuous …oh well i got that info straight from my friends mouth! pretty woman that she is, logic dictates that a man of graceful background would never beat her up. perhaps miss recto loves to concoct stories. in fact, for the public to know, the anti-violence case she filed against atty. peña in 2005 was actually dismissed by the mandaluyong court in 2007. she just miserably failed to win a case which was was basically based on fabricated testimonies, flimsy evidence (sham neck brace),and tremendous lies! lying and telling the opposite cannot hold water in court. and even her lawyers (a string of them), cannot withstand trying to fight a case out of lies and deceptions. first she had katrina legarda, then came the brilliant fortun, then the dupaya brothers and atty. wilwayco..and there came atty. guanzon (the R.a. 9262 expert herself!)- who all of them in the latter part of her fantasy teleserye show, withdrew from legally proving her whimsical illustrations of the alleged mauling incident! Now, i think this is not yet late to clarify the name of the man whom she has tried to pull down the drain where she is now sulking wet. Poor woman!

I hope you do not suffer the same misery Ms. Recto went through in the past few years. For a very long time, she has not seen her son. That is one of the most painful things one can inflict on a mother – kahit anong klaseng ina pa siya. However, I have known Plinky for a long time. She is a decent woman. It is also overwhelming how you would have the nerve to dignify and echo those ugly rumors about a woman you have not even met. At ano’ng sinasabi mong logic dictates? Nakaranas ka na ba ng tunay na systema ng hustisiya sa Pilipinas? I would not wish for you the same tough learning experience this woman has gone through and is still suffering with regard our justice system. I only wish that you keep to your own sad corner instead of berating the reputation of a good woman who you can only aspire to be. Magpaganda ka na lang para magkaroon ka ng life.

he is our mayor….i have seen so more improvements in our town…we receive so more awards when he came to our town…i never meet him personally…but he is a very frank person…
