Annabelle claims that Mother Lily played politics by making it sure that Mulawin will only get one small cinema per SM mall and that was the reason why Mulawin was only number 3 in ticket sales. Accordingly, Mother Lily wanted to do away with Richard Gutierrez because Annabelle doesn’t wan’t to renew her son’s contract with Regal Films. (Regal is currently trying to build-up a Dennis Trillo-Angel Locsin teamup).

Mother Lily says she won’t participate in the next MMFF if they do not change the system. She could not believe that a violent film like Kutob got the Gatpuno award.
